I went on a walk this evening so that I could hit record and share a quick story. I ended up cutting out a long ramble that was part of this original recording.
“Me fuí, pero ya volví”
Translation: “I left, but now I’m back”
As explained in the story — 19 years ago I got my nose pierced. When I casually uttered this phrase, “me fuí, pero ya volví” earlier this week, this odd anniversary of my nose piercing came strolling through my memory. It’s such an odd phrase, that I spent some time musing about it. The vague ramble that I cut out from the above audio was an attempt at exploring consistency vs. capriciousness… thoughts incomplete on that — but remembering the night I got my nose pierced is still a story worth sharing. Big smile.
Great story telling Adam! Love it.
